Hello! My name is Sara Groth and I am so excited to be your fifth grade teacher at St. Brigid of Kildare for the 2019/2020 school year!
This is my fourth year teaching at St. Brigid. I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2015. I earned a double major in Elementary Education and Social Studies, as well as a minor in Language Arts. I moved here from St. Clair Shores, where I lived with my family and our dog , Pepper. My sister, Lilly, is 15 years old and is a junior in high school this year at Regina. (Where does the time go?!) I feel very blessed to have become a big sister; Lilly was the main reason I decided to pursue a career in education. I now live in Freeland with my two cats, Fred and George. I cannot wait for this new school year; fifth grade is a fantastic age-group to work with and I am excited to work with these students, while we both grow and learn from each other!! |
Here is my amazingly talented, kindhearted, and grown-up sister, Lilly. We have a lot in common; we both love to sing and perform, and we're both avid readers!

This is our dog, Pepper. She is about 9 years old. She was a stray, but we rescued her! She has truly impacted our lives- we love her so much!!

Here is a picture from one of the most important days of my life with some of the most important people in my life. I am constantly thankful for their love and support. They have helped me get to where I am today!
